• Ability to perform detailed paint corrections, including prep/prime and nibbing to remove any imperfections.

Efficiency and Planning:

• Strong ability to plan, organize, and execute paint jobs efficiently to meet set productivity targets.
• Skilled in using visual management tools such as whiteboards to track project progress and deadlines.

Team Collaboration:

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach, ensuring seamless integration with other body shop operations.
• Collaborates effectively with managers, body technicians, and estimators to prioritize and streamline workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Paint Application: Apply paint and finish to vehicles, ensuring each job meets ColorKraft’s standards for quality and efficiency.
• Project Coordination: Utilize planning tools to manage and prioritize paint jobs according to urgency and client specifications.
• Quality Control: Regularly check and maintain painting equipment for optimal performance; manage the mixing and application of paint to achieve the best finish.
• Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the body shop team to minimize bottlenecks and optimize the workflow to achieve a target of 12-20 cars per week.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for small, quick jobs to optimize workflow and aim for same-day turnarounds whenever possible.
